A Comparison Between AH 26 and Sealapex for Post-Obturation Pain

Objective: To find out the post-obturation pain with Sealapex and AH26 Sealers on first, third seventh day.
 Study Design: Quasi-experimental study.
 Place Duration of Study: Armed Forces Institute Dentistry, Rawalpindi Pakistan, from May to Nov 2019.
 Methodology: Three hundred eighty-eight patients either gender, ranging age 20 45, presenting in OPD for root canal treatment were selected. Teeth opened, cleaned shaped properly rotary HyFlex EDM files. Obturation was done sealer half cases, rest obturated using AH26. Post-operative recorded VAS scoring days 1,3 7.
 Results: Of 388 reporting, 131(67.5%) males, 63(32.5%) females. Comparative recording 1, 3 7 showed post-operative AH Sealer-Group as 80(58%), 64(72.3%), 22(84.3%) SealerGroup 58(42%), 24(27.7%) 4(15.7%) respectively. The difference between both groups all statistically significant, an increased 26 Sealer-Group. There a significant relation gender distribution. Younger reported more compared older subjects.
 Conclusion: is than which gradually decreases each passing day.
